Hi, I've just moved to Brisbane.
I have played in a number of bands off and on for many years. I have written many songs, released a solo album and played on 4 other studio albums.
I'm looking to meet musicians and join or start a band.
My first love was electric bass and I've played professionally as a bass player.
Since becoming a songwriter I play mostly piano, slide guitar, guitar.
I have a 9-5 job, and can practice/gig a couple of times a week. Evenings and weekends.

Influences
I love what I call roots music - the ancestors, uncles, cousins of rock'n'roll.
Blues, old fashioned country music and r&b, classic rock (early 60s-early 70s), southern boogie, soul and gospel flavours, folk rock.
I'm open to a wide range of musical styles.
I have an acoustic album on Bandcamp which you can listen to for free. It has mostly piano and slide guitar but the 3rd track Star Sign showcases an electric guitar solo.
