SEEKING A GUITARIST
Melbourne based Progressive Metal band PAEON are seeking a dedicated guitarist and backup vocalist to join as a full time contributor, performer and member of the band.
PAEON are set to record their first 3 singles in July for an EP to be released later 2023, which will see some gigs around the metropolitan Melbourne area.
Our ideal candidate will be technically proficient with progressive metal/rock styles
- Aged mid 20’s and above with 10 (or so) years of experience gigging, writing and recording heavier styles (metal, alternative, prog, rock)
- Based in Metropolitan Melbourne area and can attend regular rehearsals.
- Can provide backing vocals or is willing to learn (non-negotiable)
- Has their own gear to fit the sound of the band (reverb, delay, modulation)
- Extra points for having some producing knowledge/has an ear for textures/soundscapes
- Is able to jam and create on the fly, contributing to song ideas. Must be able to play rhythm and lead.
