Keyboard, Background Singer.

ABOUT

Our band 'Collidium' is looking for a keyboard player.

We have a current line-up of guitar/vocals; bass/vocals; and, drums. We've done two gigs this year. Our music is written with keyboards in mind, so we're looking to get someone in soon.

The general theme to our music is progressive rock with some gothic aspects. We are passionate about all forms of music and musical boundary-pushing is in our mandate. Consequently the music and sounds vary considerably and influences include: rock, metal, ambient, jazz, funk/soul, modern classical, Middle-Eastern and African music.
Our vocals are all intelligible and relatively clean.

We're looking for someone who can join us in a) supporting live performances playing music from our first album, b) join forces and actively contribute to writing for our second album.
Must have gear and transport , willing to head over the east / outer-east side of town regularly. Some singing ability (harmonies) would be an advantage.

We're all relatively easy-going - no drug or personality issues.
We're committed to bringing a different sound to people's ears and wish to do this though an open, creative, safe environment for ideas to flourish and be refined - then to present these in an entertaining, dramatic and musically accomplished way.
