I started out singing online with jam sites and friends, and graduated (thanks to Bandmix) to singing with several groups in the jazz, blues and soft rock/chilled genres. I love singing jazz standards and I'm constantly extending my love of blues - particularly where blues and jazz meet. I create original lounge/chillout/electronic type vocal tracks with a friend online as well and would love to get into more of this. I work full time but otherwise I'm free to sing when and where I can. I write lyrics often. I also play in Juliet & The Black Souls with friends and we gig occasionally - mostly originals with some covers in the blues/pop/country/folk/rock genres.

Influences
My favourites will always include Norah Jones, Melody Gardot (what an inspiration), and Ella Fitzgerald. I love tracks and styles like Air, Sepiamusic Everything but the Girl, Bonnie Raitt, Barbara Morrison, Janiva Magness, Caro Emerald. I prefer laid back type music whether it is jazz, blues or lounge. Anything smooooth.
