I do solo acoustic guitar gigs, no back ground music, just me singing and a fender acoustic guitar.
I will only add songs to my set list if 1. I've satisfied myself that I've nailed it(staying as true to the original melody as possible), and 2. It's the type of tune that I can make sound "full", and accentuate the melodys natural build ups,and ensure it ebbs and flows as it should.
