Born and Raised in South West Sydney; Kara Zmatiq relocated to Newcastle, New South Wales Australia taking with her extensive experience in music theatre, live performance and music in the shadows of alter-ego and man behind the charismatic smile.
Kara Zmatiq has since established herself as one of 'Australia's Best Drag Stars', featuring in community and music magazines, raising over $40,000 for both local and national disaster relief and medical research charity organisations, celebrating the launch of debut hit single 'QUEEN' which has catapulted Kara Zmatiq's fame with the single officially registered with APRA/AMCOS and Kara Zmatiq' music career doted by thousands of fans across the country, multiple-award winnings spanning local and state based entertainment competitions and multiple entertainment award nominations including Brisbane Pride Awards, ACON Time To Shine, MO Awards and earning national representation with EMA: Entertainment.
Kara Zmatiq draws her inspiration from artist such as Grace Jones, The Divinyls, Stevie Nicks, The Supremes, Madonna, George Michael and current pop stars including Kylie Minogue, Jessie J and Arianna Grande. Kara Zmatiq has shared both stage and spotlight with many Australian celebrities including Samantha Jade (X Factor Australia) and Paul Martell (Young Talent Time, ABC).
