I have played drums since age 12 though I started out on guitar and ukulele at age 9. I can still play a decent baritone ukulele. I have played countless pubs and clubs, weddings and festivals. I have played celtic music in Thailand, blues and soul in Rarotonga, and rockabilly at several Beach Hop festivals in New Zealand. I have studio and road experience.

UPDATE 9/7/20. I have been writing my own material for the last few years and recording. I love drumming but right now it's not my main focus. I am looking for collaborators. All styles welcome, especially a good female vocal. P

Influences

You name it. I grew up listening to my parent's music along with my older brother's music. From Glen Campbell and Neil Diamond, to Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Jethro Tull. I loved the 80s punk and new wave when it happened. Auckland student radio in the 90s was diverse. I've been to most of the Big Day Outs. I love Little Feat Yes Soundgarden Tool Sepultura Supergrass Tonic King Crimson Los Lobos Early ZZ Top. XTC The Tubes Jeff Buckley Split Enz Crowded House. Other great kiwi bands like Bressa Creeting Cake The Muttonbirds Blam Blam Blam and Goldenhorse. Love Reurgitator!! My focus is music, not virtuoso drummers although that comes with the teritory sometimes I guess. I stopped trying to be Neil Peart when I was 20 ha ha. There are too many influences to mention. Oh and i LOVE Frank Zappa
