Band to Join.ABOUT
After a hiatus from playing due to family, study and work, I am looking to play music again with others. I have played in local bands since my late teens, especially Rock and Metal.
While a career change to music is highly unlikely, I take my music seriously and would be very committed to any musical project that I’d be involved with.
I would be interested in joining an established band or starting something new with a group of players with similar tastes - Rock, Prog, Metal, even Jazz. I would be interested in writing and playing original music and coming up with novel arrangements for some covers.
While I would have no issue with playing with people much younger (or older) than me - I’m in my late 40s - it might be a better fit with players of a similar age and shared life experiences (i.e. families and mortgages).
As for skill level, I have been working on my chops to get to the level I was previously at and better. In areas where I might still be lacking, I have the dedication to get them in my ear and under my fingers.
