ABOUT
“Japsy Moon” is a bunch of multi instrumentalist, blending their influences and sounds to the songs of Kyoko Miyauchi. Kyoko grew from Japanese roots, her late father was a Shakuhachi master and mother teaches traditional style singing.
Her songs are an upbeat amalgam that draws from many styles. The band has wide experiences and broad horizons and will energetically extemporize the night away. Soloists Len E. Johnson and Greg Schubert go head to head on whatever instrument comes to hand, while the Rhythm section Mic Neale and Trent Rogers pump out the Jazzyklesmaticphunkjap.
"Japsy Moon" is Fun, Different, New.
