I'm predominantly a blues player, rhythm or lead but prefer lead, looking to join or start a band. Also looking for a female soul singer for a blues/soul/covers duo.
As for the styles I am into, I like the funky style epitomised by Albert Collins and Buddy Guy but also the cleaner soulful BB King stuff and would happily start a BB cover band if there was the interest. Of course its also fun to play the dirtier texan Srv stuff, Hendrix, Albert King et al.
I'd be interested in jamming and seeing what we could come up with, possibly start with a few standards and develop our own interpretations as well as some originals hopefully.
I also play a bit of acoustic and like messing around with alt tunings, playing Celtic melodies or anything avant garde or world music genre. I probably know a couple of hundred campfire songs, Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Doors, Cat Stevens etc .
