Forming a band + Band in Newtown, NSW

ABOUT

Che, Dave and I are forming a small band, 4 people, who are interested in tight arrangements, great chords and rhythms, and keen to create their own sound - kind of jazz/funk/Latin/pop (baiao, bossa, plus some Cuban rhythms) - but not constrained to that. We've got piano (that's me), bass (Dave), jazz guitar (Che) covered, and are looking for a percussionist/dummer. We're working on original material, but also some covers, and are open to suggestions.
