Versatile but focus on blues, rock, hard rock, metal. Female tenor or call me a dramatic contralto who can hit C6. Tessitura from around C/D3 to A5 or there abouts . Range, grit, distortion. No death screaming, can still do good cleans aswell but prefer some sauce. Belter with great chiaroscuro and mixed voice
sense of how to build a song/emotion. I haven't performed for a good few years p so looking to get that experience happening again and gain some tech knowledge, which I'm a little scant on.

Influences
Eclectic, from opera to heavy metal, swamp rock/blues (really love swampy). Vocalists I love- Ronnie James Dio, Blackie Lawless, Tony Joe White, John Fogarty, Chris Wilson (Oz Bluesman), Leslie West, Jeff St John, Tina Turner are just at the forefront of my mind today because of the songs on my practice list. Love many old blues, soul, funk and swamp singers, I even love old broadway songs and classical, love Pavarotti. My grandmother used to teach me popular songs from the 20s onwards. I once went to Johnny Young talent school but got expelled for singing cabaret on the roof in Liverpool western Sydney where I hail from. My most serious teacher was Neil Williams, a singer from the early days of Aussie TV and radio programs.
I'm about feel but I have a great range of sounds and techniques bar death growls etc (can throw in a few but not really my thing). Feel, swing, groove, vibing, lyric writing and ad lib ability.

EQUIPMENT
Choosing a mic now. Looking at PAs. A few percussion instruments. Interested in wash board and harmonica tbh right now but aint got no wash board. I can shake a mean tamborine too, so I'll pick one of those up shortly.
