ABOUT

Hello there, my name is Lionel Sarmardin. I am Session drummer and former drummer of Coloured Stone, Blekbala Mujik, Shane Howard/Neil Murray/Sammy Butcher, Zennith(Hip-hop reggae), and Yabu Band. 2001 I was apart of a Multimedia Project called "Kool Skool" run by Paul Higgins in which my band won back in 2001 and I received my "Best Instrumental Drummer" Award by Mr. Normie Rowe after recording at Gingerman Sounds on The Surfers Paradise owned an run by Mr. Brian Cadd. Shared the stage with "Mental As Anything" while drumming for Coloured Stone at the Eungella Wintermoon Festival in North Queensland as well as "Big Talk, One Fire Festival on the Cairns Esplanade, then toured Arnhem Land with Coloured Stone before moving on to touring with Yabu Band. Currently Looking for a band to get back into it as I had time off to grow my kids.
