Band to Join.ABOUT
I've been a musician for as long as I can remember. Grew up absorbing and playing nothing but the blues and 70's psychedelic music, it's no wonder that the world of stoner rock, doom metal, and heavy psych was where I would end up residing. My tastes in music are definitely wide and varied, but in terms of where my comfort zone lies for playing music, it's squarely in the land of fuzzy, riff-driven hard rock with a psychedelic edge.
I've played in multiple bands over the years, ranging from Punk/Hardcore inspired rock bands, to heavy blues bands, even to some weird Primus/Machine Gun Fellatio/TISM Stoner Rock hybrid.
I'm also not exactly the best lead guitarist in terms of flashy technique - I'm not one for speed or crazy stuff, but I am a dab hand at improvisation. Improv is probably one of my stronger suits, just being able to adapt and play to what others are doing.

EQUIPMENT
I've a variety of guitars ranging from semi-hollow rock guitars to a Partscaster (which I really need to repaint) and even a Bass VI copy I built from a parts kit that I have setup as a long scale Baritone.
My basses are just as varied, There's a Thunderbird in there, a Rickenbacker, alongside some cheap and cheerful staples that I've built and modified myself.
For Amps, I run a 15W Bassbreaker for my guitars, and an Ashdown stack for my basses - although the bass amp is a bit cactus at the moment.
I also have a whole heap of pedals and such that I tinker with on a regular basis, but I've got a gigging/rehearsal board all ready to go for guitar.
I'm very self sufficient when it comes to gear.
