For the past 12 years, Loui Battour has performed with bands, trios, duos and as a soloist in many projects in a range of styles including Blues, Funk, Reggae, Rock and Pop. He is fluent on acoustic guitar, vocals, drums and keys among others and also produces his own electronic dance music performing live at festivals across Victoria.
Loui plays for his simple, undeniable, ever-lasting love and passion for music, and intends to spread the love to listeners and followers. His influences include funk, jazz, reggae and soul and everything in between and has a sound for any time - day or night.
He has worked on multiple albums including Blues Mountain’s ”Jesse Valach presents Blues Mountain” coming in at #3 on the Australian Blues and Roots Radio Airplay Charts (August 2012), and is currently recording an original EP, set for debut in a couple months time, and already booking shows up until December 2017.
Loui performs shows with an array of sounds constantly evolving and features a live looping setup including keys, electronic drums, vocals and guitar.
