I'm a 42 year old musician about to mov to Canberra at the end of this year (2022). I have played guitar since a kid and am competent in most styles (not jazz - that is still a mystical secret to me!). I am the guitarist (baritone) and singer in the 2 piece band, Dirty Elvis. We gigged around Melbourne from 2009-2014 (with a single comeback show in 2019, just before Covid hit). I now build guitars under the brand name Dirty Elvis Guitars.

I am looking to join an established working band to make some extra cash, meet some new friends and play some guitar. I have played in successful working bands in Newcastle and Melbourne. I played in a funk/dance/pop covers band called Bump n Grind in Newcastle as guitarist in the early 2000s, then another classic rock band in the mid 2000s (I can't remember the name?!)

I played and sung in heavy metal bands through high school. I studied Classical guitar after high school and completed a bachelor of Music in 2003. I played in funk/dance/pop/rock bands through my twenties, whilst also playing solo acoustic shows in pubs and clubs. I started Dirty Elvis in 2009 in Melbourne where I played baritone guitar and sung, this was a heavy blues rock band, well respected on the scene in Melbourne.

I have a Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket amp and Supa-Trem pedal. I have a great recording studio and will be looking to set this up again in Canberra.
