Mercury Sky are a 5 piece alt/prog band from all over Sydney. We rehearse in Baulkham Hills at our guitarist's home studio.
We are currently seeking a proficient guitar player with band experience looking to commence with us in January 2017. We currently have East Coast tour dates booked in for Jan/Feb.
Our ideal candidate would have quality gear and at least a quality 6 and a 7 string guitar in their possession to be able to play our material. We play in quite a few tunings and use a fair few effects in addition so any candidate would have to be able to create these sounds. This also applies to new material so songwriting experience is very much preferred.
Experience with clicks/metronomes is also a necessity as we play to clicks and backing tracks live. We are additionally looking for someone who can contribute to vocals live so any singing experience would also be a big preference.
