SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer, Vocalist - Alto, Ukulele.ABOUT
I'm a bright, bubbly 26 year old female vocalist. I love music (obviously) and have been singing since I could speak so I've had lots of practice. I've never really done too much with my music - I was in the school choir, talent shows, musicals, etc.
When I left school, I was in a pub rock band for a while but we disbanded after only a couple of gigs due to schooling and life commitments.
I'd love to make some music with someone once or twice a week - with or without gigs - I'm not too worried.
Ideally I'm looking for someone who plays guitar reasonably well and may be interested in harmonising.
Alternatively, I'd be happy to join any bands that are needing a vocalist - front and centre or for some back ups.
I have a decent range - I'm predominantly a soprano however can cope with a lot of alto stuff too.
You can check out a lot of my stuff on the karaoke app “Sing! By Smule” - my username is LOVe__MiaRose__
Harmonising is fairly new to me - I’ve predominantly been a soloist - but with every harmony I get better and I’m always wanting to learn something new.
I live in Springfield Lakes but work full time in the Rochedale area so travel in or around those areas is fine.
Looking for someone who's comfortable with evenings and/or weekends.
If you're interested, please contact me and we can arrange a collaboration.
I'm available by text or call.

Influences
I'd have to say I'm influenced by all kinds of music from the 90's (bachelor girl, no doubt, evanescence), to classics like Queen, AC/DC, Credence Clearwater Revival, Nirvana, Joan Jett to modern stuff like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, etc.
I also love creating a new take on a classic - particularly giving something a jazz or big band feel - big supporter of Post Modern Juke Box.
I also like to play with the timing and flow of a song to make it unique.

EQUIPMENT
My voice.
I have an older PA speaker and a music stand. I am in the market for a new microphone and a small setup to help me balance my voice and reverb and such.
Looking to get some new equipment so I would love some suggestions on what I should get.

First recording of myself in quite a while. I'm a bit pitchy in places. I hope you like it.
