G'day I'm a 17 year old guitarist and singer who has a passion for music and would be happy to join a band eventually. I'm currently studying for the HSC so I'm probably too busy to join a band before the HSC; But I decided to put myself out there. I used to sing in a choir, the Australian youth choir. (I know that's a bit strange and a bit cringe) which helped build my vocals, and I still am continuing to work on building my range and clarity. I started playing guitar two years ago and have been dedicated to it and I'm doing Music for my HSC and planning on playing Sultans of swing on guitar (lead) and singing the lyrics, playing Always with you always with me by Joe Satriani, and Message in a bottle by The Police (Rhythm and vocals). I proudly play a 2018 Gibson Firebird studio with p90s and I keep learning something every day. I'm mainly working on lead guitar: practicing scales, licks/riffs and particular techniques, but I'm not too bad at rhythm. I practice solos from songs, such as Crazy train, nothing else matters, Eruption, no Woman, Nah Cy, ect, in order to get inspired.
I just starting learning how to record and mix music with a used presonus AR12, which I use for music assessment and general recording. I'm hoping to start recording my own music soon, in my spare time. I've played a few gigs with some school bands, playing simple songs like living on a prayer and some pop songs like I'm yours, but yeah nah I'm not a fan of pop music, as well as performed with the Australian Youth Choir.
I'm hoping to play in a band as a hobby and make music as a hobby, as I am planning on a career in engineering.

- yeah, I'm that type of guitarist that doesn't collect hundreds of guitars. My attitude is: Save up and get one or two good guitars, not waste money on ten cheap guitars.
