So, anyone out there want to play bass with us?
Formed in 2018, Goldfish Smarts is a somewhat alternative-indie-surf-rock originals band from Manly, Australia. The band is a labour of love and passion. (We have a strict no dickheads policy.) We share writing, pizza, beer, all decisions and all costs. (We try to minimise costs and maximise the rest). We’re a gang of six, all on the wrong side of 50 (but don’t let that be a deterrent).
We’ve released 40 songs on Spotify (and other streaming serfvices), a mixture of singles, EP’s and one live album. We rehearse every Wed night (SOO nights excluded), and we gig 10-20 times a year. We’re mixing a new album right now. The 1st single is scheduled for release 6th Sept, 2nd single 3rd Oct, and the album 25th Oct.
We’ve got a 10-15 date NSW regional tour being confirmed as we speak for late Oct thru to mid-Dec.
We don’t care if you’re young, old, male, female, left-handed or right-handed…if you’ve got the passion and can make the commitments, then let’s have chat. DM us, email us, call us…whatever takes your fancy.
