Hi there, I've lived on the Central Coast for a couple of years now and I'm looking to jam out and create some original Christian music with a goal of recording.
My first name is 'Mike' but my last name is not actually 'Rafone' (it could be an Italian surname though), I'm just a fan of bad humour. So, this isn't a prank, I really do want to start creating music.
The songs I have added for some kinda reference are from some of the original bands (Minus Pinto, Syzygy and Mr Hook) I've both played live with and recorded drums for.
Also there is a video of an attempt at a Tool album in which myself and bass player where given three and a half weeks notice to try and learn and play ha ha. It was fun even with a few mistakes along the way. Also of note: Maynard is a hard vocalist to try and cover for anyone.
Hoping to head in the alternative/prog direction, but also open to different genres of music. If you are a born again Christian and are interested in using your God given talents, reach out and let's get something going.

EQUIPMENT
Both Electronic and Acoustic Drums. Mostly Roland and Sonor gear. I only play with a single kick pedal (always have) and will use whatever (drum) equipment needed to compliment the music being performed.
