Hi there,
I am a 25 year old female vocalist who knows fu*k all about music.
I have been singing non stop since I entered this universe - not all of the sounds that come out of me are gems, but some aren't bad. I was incredibly infatuated with the piano when I was a child but we unfortunately couldn't afford lessons for me to learn. I applied for Music University In Wellington City which was quickly nipped in the bud by my mother who wanted me to attend Graphic Design School (dropped out of that one too ... sorry Mum).
From there the only logical path forward was to have a year off uni (I was 17) to smoke weed and listen to all the great artists that ever lived.
I thought I would have grown out of this but this is not the case. Still just as infatuated as I was in school Choir as I am now with the melancholy tones of Lana Del Rey the dynamic sound in Adeles art and the rawness of delivery when Paloma Faith sings.
