ABOUT

Looking to form or join a duo or band with folks who want to play solid tunes (that haven't been done to death) on the usual covers circuit.
Seeking confident semi/pro players who know how to improvise & and are comfortable doing gigs with minimal band rehearsal. Seeking those who have a cool head with this approach and are into music firstly for the love of it.

The main aim for me is to have some fun and get some $$ for our efforts in the process.

I'm familiar with a lot of covers material since starting out in the '80's, I've played many solo and band gigs in all this time and have a good guitar sound happening.

** Also seeking work as a freelance guitarist/musician:
- quick to to learn new material and improvise, am open to last minute fill-in spots if a band should require it.
- Studio session work would be a bonus.

(Please note - metal, full-on punk, grunge, or rap/electronica are not in my repertoire).

A bit about me:
- long time well versed musician - Lead / Rhythm Guitar - Electric & Acoustic - different styles.
- quick to learn new material and open for a challenge to be thrown into the deep end.
- comfortable with lead vocals (tenor) but generally prefer harmonies.
- I know heaps of songs in the Blues / Rock / Pop / RnB & Soul / Contemporary & Folk genres.
(I have written and recorded a few originals).
- a show or concept band would be fun, and corporate gigs would be a bonus!
- I'm a 'feel' player....I like improvising and being versatile.
