Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
DRUMMER and BASS PLAYER wanted. Hi. I used to play in a covers band 25 years ago and I'm looking to get back into it. Initially just for fun but who knows where it could go? I believe there's a market out there for a small acoustic trio that can cover everything from The Beatles to Ed Sheeran. When I say 'acoustic', I mean we'd still have a drummer and bass, but just me on the semi-acoustic rather than full-on lead guitar with distortion etc. I can sing lead vocal for most of the tunes but if you can sing as well, then we can share the responsibility and include harmonies etc. Initially, let's just jam and see if we get along. I'm 52 yrs young (geez that sounds old) but I'm young at heart and have been keeping up to date with all the new stuff. My goal is for us to be a 'fun act' that can get any place singing and dancing and having a blast. Influences
I'm open minded but generally play covers that appeal to most people. Everything from The Beatles, Creedance, U2, Paul Kelly, Neil Diamond, Crowded House, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Chisel through to Sheeran, Vance Joy, George Ezra, Chili Peppers and The Killers. Like to keep it upbeat and fun. Songs like, Mr Jones, Brown Eyed Girl, Down on the Corner, Save Tonight, Hurt So Good, Blister in the Sun, Summer of 69... that sort of thing.

EQUIPMENT
I have Semi-Acoustic Guitar, 12 channel mixer, 2 x 15" Powered Speakers, Mics, cables, stands etc. I also have Electric Guitars with Line 6 Pedal Board and will look at electric but am preferring to concentrate on an acoustic act.
