ABOUT

Hi, I am an amateur songwriter and producer who works on my own songs and sometimes end up paying for a vocal from Airgigs, but often just sings on them myself. I don't have a brilliant voice, but passable for some of my demos. My main focus has been recording and mixing, working to dial in a sound, and am starting to get somewhere.

My biggest problem is procrastination and laziness, my second biggest problem is I struggle with lyrics, and while can write a decent lyric, it often takes me longer than I would like.

So co-writing would make a lot of sense, if I found the right person to work with. Someone who can bring a different perspective and give me the motivation I need sometimes, someone who can help me improve and write better songs. And that makes me think that someone who could sing as well would be a perfect opportunity to start a project that is high on my bucket list to write and record an album.

So I am looking for a songwriter/vocalist, female I think as I want to do something different to my usual songs and I have a few ideas already that would suit a female voice. The idea would be to write 10 songs together and record them under a band name.

I am also interested in working with anyone who just wants to work on a song for themselves, and needs someone to write with/for them and produce a track that they can release themselves.

My songs tend to be quite traditional, formal writing techniques. I'm not against experimentation but I do prefer songs of the three minute pop song variety.

Obviously this could be done remotely, with anyone in the world, but I do think that it is good to be able to have some discussions while writing, and having the opportunity for getting together now and again to go through what we have so far makes sense. Plus recording would be easier, obviously. Not thinking this would be overly time-consuming, and most of the songwriting work can be done in our own time. But having the chance to talk about a song and what we want from it would be helpful I think.

Am not interested in playing live, to be honest don't have the time to commit, I just love creating songs not necessarily performing them.

If anyone is keen and wants to write and record some songs then give me a buzz.
