53 YO guitarist who dabbles (trying to teach myself) piano, drums bass with some vocal ability. Started gigging in my teens through to my 40's back in Sydney 80's 90's, naughties and 10's. In the early days I worked mostly with originals bands, but migrated to covers as venues started to shut down and pokies started choking the music scene in Sydney.
My family has been on the Sunshine Coast since the 70's, but I finally started relocating myself 2 years ago and I'm now here to stay.
I took about a decade off playing in bands (changed career and worked weekends), but am free again and keen to meet some like-minded easy going musicians and make some music I'd be interested in working with songwriters or with duo/band doing covers or combination. Hell, it would just be great to have a cold beer and jam again if thats more your thing.
I've also done fill in work so If you have a band that has some gigs and your guitarist can't make it might be able to fill in as well.

Influences
I'm a 70's child who loves rock my influences are many. The usual suspects, Zep, Floyd, Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Doors, Kinks, Black Crowes, Eagles, Doobie Brothers. Of course the Aussie bands; Cold Chisel, Angels, INXS, Powderfinger, Grinspoon, but also love acoustic music and/or versions. Also Blues, Jazz country etc, etc, etc...
