When I say I’ve been playing guitar for 30yrs+ that only means I was given my 1st guitar 13yrs old. I didn’t really pick it up until I was 18yrs old & since then I’ve put it down & picked it back up again numerous times. Back in my hay day my surrogate father was in a punk/hard rock cover band so besides actually playing on stage a few times I also got to hang out amongst accomplished muzzo’s & helped partake in all aspects of the bands tasks, performances & practices. I even designed band posters & help erect them. Needless to say I’m only an average rhythm guitarist who’s attempting to improve what minor lead guitar skills I already have, along with a recent late-life crisis urge which has led me to purchase a Washburn 5-string banjo for which I have already begun the tedious process of teaching myself to play. I can also manage some electronic synthesiser, harmonica & untrained vocals. I can also play the Indian mouth harp!
