Influences
I always struggle with this question as I have a vast list of influences from many different styles ... As a bass player ..The usual suspects; Jaco Pastorious, James Jamerson, John Entwistle, Victor Wooten, Tony Levin, Jeff Ament,Les Claypool, Billy Sheehan, etc.
As a muso, pretty much everything ...my iTunes has well over 1000 artists.. I guess you could say that I am most influenced by 60's, 70's, 90's and 00,s Rock, Funk, Blues, Jazz and Metal bands (80's had some really good bands but I can't say I was overly influenced by the decade musically) ....I'm not so into modern pop music (and by pop I'm referring specifically to music created as a commercial product with the only intention of moving units)
