I've developed a fairly ambient textural style, with a strong rhythmic sense and am looking to be the canvas that others can play off. I have written lots of passages and a few songs, I'd love to really get some stuff created that works in a group. I sing a bit but prefer playing guitar, though I would love to sing more, maybe some harmonies.
My preferred vibe is deep, dark and melancholy, I am also fond of angsty noisy stuff with the occasional upbeat song here and there. I love reverb, delay and making soundscapes, drones and rhythms... I would love a cleaner guitarist to pick and solo over that, a bass and drums to interweave, a keyboardist to provide variety and melody. Other instruments like sax, cello and viola are welcome. Vocals would be good, but I love instrumental stuff too...
Genres that I identify with (if you're into that) dream pop, indie, shoegaze, noise rock, post rock, post pop, goth... but I am open to ideas.
