I am 60 years old and used to teach film studies and philosophy at uni. Been playing guitar since I was a kid. Never professionally, but have jammed a lot, and that has brought some of the deepest joy in my life. I want more of that. If something beyond just making ever eventuated,I'd go for it, but that's the main thing: the joy of making music with other people. Open to anything from working on weird sound cinematic soundscapes to jamming out on 12 bar blues.

Influences
Was brought up with Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and the Beatles, became a skate punk in my teenage years and kept at it for decades, fell in love with trip hop and grunge in the 90s and had my own little studio while I was lecturing at Newcastle uni. Kind of eclectic and still open to other influences. Don't mind a bit of the old blues either.
