I’m an experienced singer-songwriter and performer. Have toured nationally, received national radio airplay, publishing deal, recorded/released six albums, including my last record in 2018 which I recorded in Nashville with Brad Jones (locally he’s recorded Missy Higgins, Bob Evans, Melody Pool, etc).
Since COVID hit I stopped playing original music and started playing in cover bands…but I’d like to start playing originals again. I don’t really have a desire to do heaps of gigs…mainly looking for like-minded people who I can get along with, and who complement each other musically, to get a bunch of songs together with an eye to recording. I’ve got a load of songs written but I’m happy to join in co-writing. Similarly happy to share singing duties. I miss being in a ‘band’ band: where everyone influences the song that’s brought to the band with their own skills and musicianship.

Endless list of musical loves. But I guess my songwriting leans to the lyrical guitar pop: Elvis Costello, Squeeze, XTC, Wilco (in their less obtuse moments), Big Star, Pretenders, Richard and Linda Thompson, Blondie, etc, etc…
