Currently in a 70s plus cover band with 3 guys.

We have played together for nearly 7 years.
Tragically our drummer/singer passed away in December 2022.
We are looking for a new person to join our band family. We play a wide range of covers including some more challenging for drums including Police, Heart, RHCP, Eurythmics, Divinyls, Pretenders, Rolling Stones, Jo Jo Zep, Split Enz, Baby Animals, Brian Adams, the Cars, Bondi Cigars, Spectrum, Free, Chain and more. We try to choose songs that are musically interesting and less flogged to death and add our own touches. Our ages range from mid 50s to late 60s.
Music is not our main source of income. We have done paid gigs and community gigs and charity gigs. It is more about creating a good sound and the fun of doing it together.

Also involved in an all women band who have done 2 Fringes plus Umbrella Festival.
The women's band is looking for a replacement 4th member to join us. We need keyboard and vocal skills. Our new member needs to have a good ear especially for harmonies and take on the upper harmonies. Harmony is the focus of our group. We experiment with different music and our shows seek to highlight our experiences and interpret life through songs. We are professional women in our 50s and 60s and rehearsals are held after hours.
We have covered songs by
America, Mamas and Papas, BGs, Beatles, Lorde, Helen Reddy, Vika and Linda Bull, Adele, Melanie, Dixie Chicks, Springsteen, Angels, Barnes Courtney, and more. Our band has acoustic guitar, bass guitar and vocals we also had keyboard. Our members have gear including PA and our instruments. Our new member needs their own keyboard and preferably their own mike.
We work collaboratively and try to choose musically interesting songs that have meaning for us.
We would love to hear from a kindred spirit with good keyboard and vocal skills.

Solo artists like Joni Mitchell, Debra Conway, Carol King, Missy Higgins, Cheryl Crow, Josh Pike.
Also Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Doobie Bros, Police, Sting, Little Feat. Bluegrass and Celtic/Folk music.
