Hey! I’m Megan, I’m looking to find a band to sing with just for fun. I used to sing lots many years ago, i did several years of vocal lessons and competitions (from about age 10-18) and piano (from age 5-16) but stopped after VCE. I haven’t sung in years, so I’m probably pretty rusty but I miss music!!
I have 3 kids and a job so I’m not looking to get into this intensely, I just want to find people to jam with once or twice a week and sing my heart out, maybe do a couple of gigs if that’s the way it goes, but ultimately I just need a creative outlet and want to have fun again.

Influences
I love all music, but I’m most drawn to punk, alt, rock, pop, and strangely lately I’ve been enjoying a lot of country music ?
Honestly, I like a lot of stuff. And I’m happy to adapt my sound and style to suit.

EQUIPMENT
Vocals ? I no longer have a piano or keyboard and given I haven’t played seriously since I was in my early 20s, I’d say that skill is most likely lost to me now. So I’ll stick to my vocal pipes. I probably have a microphone still somewhere but I have to look.
