Hi guys! I’m Maori and have been singing since I was a child, grandmother was in a country music band and my whole family have been around music all our lives. A new bar has opened up locally (Wynnum) that does open mic every Sunday. As my famiky are lame and won’t perform with me, I’m wondering if I can connect with at least a guitarist and maybe even others who are keen to practise a set to perform there just for fun. If it leads onto more, I’m totally in.
