I’m looking to get together a "Punk-O-Rama All-Stars" band, with the concept being that we play songs from bands that had been on the 90's/00's Punk-O-Rama complication albums – aka the greatest albums. You know what I’m talking about.
I imagine there are a lot of us early so-Cal influenced punkers out there that have spent years playing in bands and have the chops, and all the gear, but don’t tend to play often now. Well this is for you.
I want to get together an all-star team that is efficient and rad. The plan is that everybody learns the songs in their own time, and gets together twice a week for approximately 8 weeks to play together, and then we play a few gigs and enjoy the fruits of our success, and that’s about it.
If anyone wants to continue playing after that they can, but primarily it’s about punk-a-rama!
I have gigged for years in rock bands with the pinnacle being playing the big day out (local stage). I play guitar.
