Hi, The Leaners are an inner city Brisbane band that started this year and we lost two of our original members due to other commitments and are looking for a lead guitarist and bassist to fill their shoes. We have had gig offers, but not much has eventuated as yet due to band members lack of availability on offered nights.
Technically proficiency is less important to me than reliability and creativity/ideas. The songwriting is pretty democratic, but as it stands we've been mostly creating songs from my own personal demos (https://rhysdwyermusic.bandcamp.com/), but I LOVE other ideas! I wear my influences (see below) on my sleeve, so I am interested in creating music that is catchy with clever lyrics and isn't overproduced (love some noise!)

EQUIPMENT
I play a Gibson SG through a Vox AC15. Dunno what the drums are but they sound sweet. Keyboard is Korg.
