LOOKING FOR DRUMMER AND BASS PLAYER FOR 80's HARD ROCK ORIGINALS BAND!
Vocals/guitar/synth/songwriting. I'm a rocker who studied a Bachelor of Music straight out of high school. So, while I really clashed with the academia, I know my stuff. My day job is teaching singing, guitar and piano in a music shop, so I'm playing (and practicing, I guess) music every day. I haven't been on stage in a few years and I'm determined to find the rock band I always wanted to have.

Influences
Genres: Rock, blues, OG heavy metal, arena rock, glam rock, dark country, occult rock.
Blues/rock is where I feel the most comfortable, but I'm very interested in branching out to other styles and incorporating elements from other genres.
I love the over-the-topedness of glam rock/hair metal and on-stage theatrics in general. I'm looking for that balance of 'wanky' theatrics meets genuinely good music that makes you laugh and exclaim " but it slaps!"
Original heavy metal is my jam, like Sabbath and more recently Battlesnake and Green Lung - but not really interested in any other kind of metal.
I love the big emotional sound of bands like Journey and Toto.
AC/DC and Tenacious D were my high school obsessions and they've influenced my musical sensibilities a great deal, for better or worse.
I also have a soft spot for synth as an instrument
