SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Piano, Background Singer, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Dobro, Steel guitar.ABOUT
My name is Rick Hart a singer/songwriter from SE Melbourne, Victoria. Released my debut EP (Spiral) in 2014 and heading into the studio later in 2014 to start recording my first album with my producer.
Many songs written, just looking for the right musicians to bring them to life and lock them in a live sense. DO NOT WANT TO DO ENDLESS GIGGING (been there, done that). Want to focus more on what's best to promote the (recorded) music and playing and promoting around that.
In terms of live line up, it's currently me singing and playing acoustic guitar with a keys/piano and harp player and occasional female backing vocals. Open to all other instruments - rhythm/lead alt country/folk rock/roots style guitarist, dobro, bass player, drummer, pedal/lap steel, fiddle/violin. If you can sing backing vocals better still.
Alt country/Americana/folk rock leanings with some R&B elements, all hemmed with strong pop sensibilities.
I am committed to taking my songs to the next level, but am also constrained by a full time job and family so need to be realistic and take a focussed approach. Ultimately I am looking to have a band all on the same wavelength to promote, launch and play my music live.
