We are in need of a drummer and a sound guy/girl!
The Rising Son's & Daughters are just regular everyday dads (and one amazing mum!) that work regular type jobs and pay bills but we all love playing/singing and are all massive music fans who each bring a subtle yet distinctive style and preference to the band. We play covers only. We always play for charity and musicality goes side by side with accountability to each other. We don’t have room for massive ego’s, primadonnas, divas and one-man bands. Everyone has a say and a voice. Nobody is excluded. There are no Stu Hamms or Mark Knopflers or Pavarotti’s amongst us but we all have a healthy respect and awareness of the power of making great toe-tapping music together that’s not only tight and honest but staying true to the original song wherever possible and as appropriate
Also in need of a sound person. Someone who knows their way around a live mixing console, connecting up FOH and stage foldback plus mic'ing up amps, drums, hooking up DI box's etc. We have the gear, just need someone to support us while we play live and mix the sound for the punters!
We are currently confirming bookings for the rest of the year and beyond but need a drummer and a sound person!
