Hello fellow Musicians thanks for taking the time to look at my profile.
I little about myself, I am a 37 year old extremely passionate drummer I absolutely love the drums. I played a little bit in hi school but life got in the way and I didn’t pick up the sticks again until about 4 years ago. Since then I have been practicing around 6 hours a week. I like to think I have the basics down pretty well now but I’m always striving to play better and learn new things behind the kit.
I love playing along to bands like Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins are big influences of mine. I do enjoy playing all kinds of genres though, laid back bands like Coldplay or Pink Floyd.
I put a big emphasis on dynamics and playing for the song, I wont bash the hell out of my kit for no reason or add random crazy fills that don’t fit the music.
So here’s the catch I haven’t played live and have minimal experience playing with other musicians but I am very dedicated drummer and I will put in the time to be the best player I can be, I don’t have kids so I have lots of time to practice haha. Anyway thanks for reading my life story!
Ps I am interested in playing with anyone who needs a drummer, casual or more serious it doesn’t matter I would just like to get out there and meet other like minded musicians!
