Our band Rosewood is currently looking for a backup guitarist.
We are after somebody who specialises in rhythm playing. The ability to perform backing vocals and contribute to songwriting is highly regarded, but not essential.
Rosewood is an original folk blues rock band, however we're prepared to play any genre as long as the songs are good. Covers are fine also.
Band currently consists of lead guitarist (who writes and sings), bassist (who writes and sings) and drummer (who cannot write nor sing).
Please have a listen to our demos for some idea of what we sound like. The goal is to be gigging as soon as we are tight.
We mainly practice every Sunday (or Saturday if required) at the Vision Studios rehearsal space, with a smaller session mid week.
I am more than happy to put in as much time as necessary to get our new guitarist up to speed.
