Arrived from Brisbane recently, originally North Coast Valiants 60's to 70's till National service interupted, everyone went their own way.Bought some gear to continue 5 to 6 years ago at enthusiasm of old members, combined practice until original leader/vocalist/guitarist Keith Barton sadly passed away, 3 of us continued on practice/jamming, self as vocalist, decided to move to Goolwa S A.

Influences
Always interested in bass playing, virtually self taught though wouldn't mind some instruction/practice particularly jazz playing, love rithym and blues also,, rock etc considering my age, but age is a figment of the mind, if you think young you stay young ,played with a 10/11 piece group on the Gold Coast with brass also, Busters,very enjoyable and got paid. The leader was impressed with my playing.

EQUIPMENT
Have a Epiphone EB3 bass 4 string in my possession, wanted a different bass sound, heavier and more earthy, but they don't balance well around your shoulders also a cheaper Chinese Fender Precision copy, have adjusted this and that, quite impressed with it now, no different to my old Fender Precision, the amp side is an Ashdow 300/500 watt head and an Asdown 2x12 T box with tweeter.
