I am playing with a band that plays a mix of originals and some covers in ska genre, but with a range of other influences, The frequency with which we play the off beat is a creative tension! We played with a horn section a few years ago and recorded an album, but since then have written new material, and need to find ourselves at least one saxophonist (bari/tenor/alto) and if we got trombone and trumpet to make a horn section we would be happy. A lot of our material has horn section parts already written, but there is scope for new members to write and evolve a way of playing with the rest of our line-up (singer, bass, drums, guitar and me on keys).
