ABOUT

I am a singer/keyboard player I have just moved to Melbourne from Perth. I am looking to get into a cover/original band that is currently working/has gigs booked. I am happy singing all styles of music from Jazz standards to current rock and pop songs. I am also happy working in a smaller group doing songs in restaurants etc and I am also happy to do backing vocals as I find harmonising easy.

I would ideally like to get into a band that has regular weekend/week day nights already booked.

Influences

The music I listen to is failry different at times to the music I sing, but I happy singing anything as long as I'm singing regularly. I am a trained classical soprano but love all styles. My favourite music would be big band swing standards, 50's rock and roll. I also love RHCP, Kings of Leon (Older Stuff) The Killers and my favourite band is The Cat Empire.
I also have experience performing in cafes in Perth in a duo, we covered everything fom Crowded House, John Mayer, David Gray and Norah Jones.
Having said that I also have experience singing musical Theatre and have recently sung with a caberet style rock band.
