Hey there fellow music lovers. My name is Sebastian. Im a 27 yr old drummer looking to start or join a band. I have played on and off for around 10 years now. I have played in several bands and played on 8 studio albums. I first started playing hardcore punk as the only musicians i knew played that style. I have since played in Noise rock, Psych/doom and rock n roll bands. I love playing all styles and just generally love jamming and writing songs that feel good, regardless of genre etc. I am looking to move away from the super heavy style music and more into groove based psychedelic stuff.
Previous experience: 2 East coast tours with one of my previous bands Worm Crown. 8 studio albums. Around 120 gigs under my belt, Basic, entry level band management and gig booking, organising lineups/posters and online promo.
Gear: 1970's Vintage Pearl drum kit. 4 Piece kit with 13" Rack Tom, 16" Floor Tom and 22" Bass Drum. 14x8" Ludwig acrolite Snare drum.
Cymbals: 16",18" and 19" Zildjian K Dark Thin Crash Cymbals. 14" Zildjian New Beat and Bosphorus Gold Series Hi-hats. Decent Hardware, Reliable, studio worth gear.
Things I Dont have/possible deal breakers: I DON'T HAVE A CAR AT THE MOMENT! I know, a drummer without transport, whats he thinking? It sucks, it kills me, but at this stage i don't have one and can;t afford one, so i would need band mates willing to transport my gear and or/store my gear at our future jam room.
Things i do have: Experience, Passion, Drive and Desire to Gig, Tour, Record and explore all other avenues of the music bizz. I would love to create a show, not just gig. I would also love to be as prolific as King Gizzard And The Lizzard Wizzard and smash out album after album relentlessly. That would make me very very happy.
Below are links to past bands in order from most recent to least. If one band doesn't take you try another. All my bands have been quite different, and i feel my style and groove have developed immensely from release to release.
