Playing violin/fiddle since I was age 4 including national orchestras in the UK. Grade 8 violin and viola and started studying music at uni before life took me on a different path.
Played festivals across the UK with a folk fusion and then jazz fusion bands but not played with a band since being in Australia for the past 5 years.

Influences
So many.
I like folk fusion so bands like the Afrocelt sound system, Scottish band Shooglenifty.
But I also like artists like Bob Dylan - think of the album Desire that has heaps of fiddle on it.
Love ska, reggae, and funk and yes fiddle has been used.
Love the blues and jazz so Stéphane Grappelli, Jean luc Ponty, Regina Carter.
