SEEKING
Drums.ABOUT
Are there any drummers looking for a casual band to jam with? In Coburg North.
I have the same handle on , if you'd like to get in touch.
We are Ship of Theseus. A band that formed through the music school we go to, but we now just practice fortnightly at a rehearsal space instead, and have "rebranded" ourselves as Rebel Ship of Theseus, since we decided we got more value from rehearsing for fun than the mentor program at the music school.
We are however a band without a drummer! We have a vocalist, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and bassist.
We mostly perform covers, however there is interest from a couple of the members (one of them being me) to start writing our own songs, but it's very beginner in that regard.
We mostly just play together, learn together and have fun and jam! There's no pressure and we're not looking for paid gigs currently.
We do commit to meeting fortnightly at a minimum, and we rehearse on Wednesdays in Coburg North, with backline hire (amps and drums) this is $125 split between the members, which for 5 people works out to be about $25 each.
We usually play from around 7:30pm-10:30pm, or until our fingers/voices don't work anymore.
