We're Sol Onyx, a Brisbane-based alternative band blending southern blues, atmospheric gothic, and metal elements. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated drummer to complete our lineup.
About Us:
- We're a collaborative group with a strong focus on songwriting, atmosphere, and emotional depth.
- We have a half-recorded EP demo and a wealth of unreleased material waiting to be recorded.
- We're aiming to play live shows and gigs in the near future.
- Our members are in their 30s-40s, and we're looking for someone who fits this age range and shares our passion for music.
What We're Looking For:
- A drummer who can confidently play a range of styles, from metal to blues.
- Someone who is comfortable playing in a variety of styles and can adapt to our unique sound.
- A team player who can learn our current songs, bring their creativity to new material, and contribute to the songwriting process.
- A commitment to regular weekly practices (in-person) ideally with the ability to home record for writing and willing to play live performances when ready.
- You must have your own drum kit and be able to transport it to our jam sessions.
