South Atlas are a 3-piece folk, rock, psychedelic band that have been performing together since 2019. Comprising Ben Gibson (guitar), Jesse Stanley (bass, vocals) and Lachlan Hurrell (lead vocals, guitar, banjo, ukulele, keys). South Atlas are heavily influenced by their coastal upbringings with this being intrinsic to band’s connections and their powerful sound. South Atlas' live shows are receiving amazing feedback from venue managers and patrons all over regional Victoria for their unique folk-rock psychedelia sound, flawless rhythm section and an ability to connect and engage with diverse audiences. In that quiet buzz at the end of a stellar set it's clear that these guys surf together, travel together and embrace music as a gift to share with others.

We are currently looking for a drummer to rehearse, gig and record with. We have a private rehearsal room with a drum kit, PA, lighting and a stage that we use use weekly to jam.
We have some upcoming gigs at festivals and venues around Geelong and the Surfcoast over Summer. We have a group band fund that is enough to pay for a few days recording in a studio.
