Band to Join.

Been having lessons and practising regularly for 3 or 4 yrs. I spend at least one afternoon every weekend playing in the garage with the amp turned up. Sometimes a friend will come over and jam. Trying to focus on playing songs and learn parts so that I can play in a band with other people. Have done several Weekend Warriors and played the gigs. Mainly Rhythm and lead on several tracks which I really enjoy. Am learning a couple of famous lead solos note for note as a good discipline- Something by George Harrison and Comfortably Numb by Floyd/ David Gilmour. Playing in a band and learning lots of songs is simply the best way to focus, make real progress....and have fun
